Rondelle55   also known as Gawine Grant (born August 21, 1979 in Moneague, Saint Ann, Jamaica) is a Jamaican Rapper, Songwriter , Author, Poet, Blogger, Music Producer, Podcaster and CEO. He has released several albums and several books, with his songs "The Metholas Theme "and "Hold on to the Holy Spirit" and his Book "Biandos: Journey to druca  being his best known releases. He Directs music videos under the name Trippl G and is the host of the Podcasts, The Rondelle55 Chronicles, Rondelle55's Old School Music Review Podcast, A Joy That Makes You Free: Christmas hymns as Poems and The Poetic Faith Podcast

Biography

Gawine Garth Grant was born in Moneague, Saint Ann, Jamaica in 1979 and began to perform at school concerts at the age of 6 years old as a dancehall deejay. Growing up in Jamaica he switched to academics from aged 11 years up to his late teenage years. He returned to music after high school and created amateur cassette tapes, which gave him his first taste of music production.

Career

His professional music career began in 2001 when he was allowed to voice his rap tracks over dancehall rhythms being released by the now defunct Jobes Hill Records. After years of no progress he began producing his own music and released his first Ep through Elle Rond Records via ONErpm in 2012. The next year he released his first novel via amazon.com and followed up with other releases up to the year 2021. He continues to write books and record and release music. His most consistent Blog was the Rondelle55's Old School Music Review, which lasted for 8 years from 2012 to 2020.The Blogs were posted daily, covering a different Artist each day from the Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, Rock, Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop, Opera and Other Genres and over 2,500 blogs were posted when he prematurely ended the blog in June 2020.
